Anne-Sophie serves in West Africa as the Chief Medical Officer and Head of Maternity at a local hospital. She is also actively involved in her church through teaching and discipleship. As a leader in the hospital community, Anne-Sophie invests deeply in her team, helping each member use their gifts to serve others so that many may taste and see the goodness of Jesus.

Ally is learning the local languages while making the most of every opportunity to share the life of Jesus with the people God places around her. This includes daily, contextualised interactions at her language school, in her neighbourhood, in community spaces, and through the Bible studies she is involved in.

Muana and Villy train local leaders and organise faith gatherings, lead Bible studies, and support smaller churches that currently do not have pastors. Muana also serves as the Team Leader for the Thailand and Vietnam teams, providing guidance and oversight. Villy uses her skills and passion in beauty consultancy to build meaningful relationships with Ethnic Thai people.

Rachel has faithfully served with AFES on the Gold Coast for 11 years, working full-time across three university campuses. She builds relationships with students who don’t yet know Jesus, invites them to explore faith, and trains Christian students to share the gospel. Her ministry reaches young adults at a formative stage of life.

FOCUS stands for Fellowship of Christian University Students. FOCUS Macquarie is an evangelical Christian group that reaches out to international students at Macquarie University with the love of Jesus and disciples them to become faithful followers of Christ across cultures.
