Our EXPLORE course is for people thinking through the big questions of life and faith, and especially for those wanting to understand what Christians believe, and the difference it makes to life.

Each time we run the course, people tell us how helpful has been for them. It’s relaxed and friendly, and a great way to discuss and think through the really important questions that can be sometimes by hard to talk about in our usual contexts.

Here are details of the next course coming up at MBC in 2026…

DO I HAVE TO COME EVERY WEEK? The Course works best if you start on week 1, and come back each week to develop the discussion and build on the ideas. But you’re welcome just to try it out, week by week.

WHO WILL BE THERE? The course is hosted and run by people from Macquarie Baptist Church. People invite their friends, and we all enjoy getting to know each other. That’s why we include the meal each week, which is a great way to connect and enjoy.

DO I NEED TO BOOK IN? You don’t need to register or book in - you can just turn up. Note the start time and just come along - we’ll look forward to welcoming you. If you’d like to let us know you’re coming, there’s a form below to send us a message.

IS THERE A COST? There is no charge. Our church volunteers are really happy to provide the meal, and everyone there is our honoured guest.

HOW LONG ARE THE SESSIONS? Each week the EXPLORE sessions run for about 90mins. That allows time for the meal and discussion, including a presentation from the front to get people thinking.
