Psalm 104, Titus 2:11-14
For a long time now we have recognized the remarkable way that God is bringing people from around the world to live in the Macquarie Park area, and making it a very multi-cultural and globally connected part of Sydney. We’ve called it “church in an airport lounge” as we say many “hello’s” and “goodbye’s”.
At the same time, we are realising how diverse our community is becoming. Those who have been at the church a long time will notice how much MBC has changed in our ethnic make-up. As a church, we need to think through what it means to be a community that is multi-ethnic.
MBC is International (Member Paper #1)
Homegroups bring together a mix of people from across the congregations of MBC, committing to meeting together throughout the year at a regular appointed time in the week. Members aim to work together to help each other grow in their faith, develop habits of loving community, and better serve the mission of God.

Perhaps you have heard of church membership, or might ask the question, Why become a formal member?
It turns out to be a very important question to ask.
The Bible encourages every Christian to commit to a local church. In turn, local churches are to formally recognise their members and place a high value on the commitments that come with belonging to God’s people. If you see MBC as your church, then we strongly encourage you to consider becoming a formal member.
